He is likely asking just so he knows your status. Remember that the CSM is responsible for your health and welfare, and is also responsible for making sure you get the proper care AND the proper training within your medical limits. It is incumbent upon him to know what your status is, as well as your limitations. And... when the time comes, he is also responsible for making sure you get out of the Army without a hitch AND replaces you in a timely manner.<br /><br />Don't read into it. I would imagine that the PEBLO can answer the ins and outs of your question. I don't want to give you a gut feeling. Good luck and keep us updated as some of us have experienced an MEB. If you have PTSD make sure you stay clean and dot the Is and cross the Ts. Sure. Can they stop a MEB? No. The only input they will have is submitting the non medical assessment but that is more a character statement than anything else. Military leadership hate MEB's because the process is out of their realm but the results impact what they do. <br /><br />Stay as positive as you can and work very closely with the PEBLO office, limdu coordinator and your case manager.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Apr 6 at 2021 8:54 PM2021-04-06T20:54:22-04:002021-04-06T20:54:22-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member6883184<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have seen this happen before. I have had to track several Soldiers about their MEB. The issue is that sometimes the Providers are not given the information so they don't know where you are in the process. There are regulations on the timeline of the MEB. They are most likely making sure that is it happening in a timely manner.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 6 at 2021 11:56 PM2021-04-06T23:56:01-04:002021-04-06T23:56:01-04:00CSM Darieus ZaGara6883398<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your CSM is simply tracking your progress, he and the BN Cdr. receive weekly updates during staff call, the fact that he is inquiring is a positive thing. Whether he is encouraging/coaching your COC, or simply thinks you are worth the extra effort. Stop an MEB, not at all, there is only negative effect that would come from a COC trying to influence the process.Response by CSM Darieus ZaGara made Apr 7 at 2021 5:42 AM2021-04-07T05:42:48-04:002021-04-07T05:42:48-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member6884528<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thank you all so much for your time and in put.
