Can I reclass to 68A without the algebra requirement? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-i-reclass-to-68a-without-the-algebra-requirement <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;m currently a 91D looking to reclass out. It took a long time to figure out what I wanted to shoot for. I wanted something that might challenge me a little more, something that was more interesting to me, and more importantly something with promotion points that aren&#39;t quite as high. With those factors in mind I targeted 68A, Biomedical Equipment Specialist. After talking to BN retention, she said that it was not an option as I had a D in algebra in high school. I also had an A, but she said it had to be a C or better for the year and not an average. I have not taken math in college yet either. Is there any ways around this, waivers, etc? Thank you for any and all help. I am a 35T and we do pretty much have the same skills but we use them for the MI Corps. I can understand the need to be knowledgeable in math, because you will be using a ton when learning electronics theory. I suggest you take a college math class to make this easier on you. Still surprised it is a legit client. See if you pass it. A "pass" = C, or proof of proficiency at the college level. If you fail it, it doesn't matter.
