SGT Michael Martinek2861355<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I receive disability from the VA. 30% for anxiety, 10 shoulder. My VA decision letter states anxiety indicates mild symptoms that are transient; or some difficulty in social, occupational, or school functioning, but generally functioning pretty well, has some meaningful personal relationships. Basically, transition stress to civ life. I am done with school soon and want to get back in. Any chance? Can I re-enlist with a 40% VA disability (with 30% being anxiety that is transitional based) and RE-1 code?2017-08-23T17:58:00-04:00SGT Michael Martinek2861355<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I receive disability from the VA. 30% for anxiety, 10 shoulder. There are several avenues of questions that need to be discussed, none of which should be done publicly to non-verified military personnel. <br /><br />Secondly, seriously, you need to call your local Recruiter. Sites like "themilitarywallet.com" are obviously not DoD, I could post an article there saying that in order to re-enlist you must have a purple elephant tattooed on your fourth point of contact and be just as valid. Recruiting regulations change frequently, so the best way to be up to date is be to be in personal contact with a Recruiter.<br /><br />Hit up Google, and call.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 23 at 2017 6:40 PM2017-08-23T18:40:00-04:002017-08-23T18:40:00-04:00PO1 Dennis Herdina2861495<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>30% is cut off for reenlisting last I heard but talk to a recruiter of the active side or the guard and see what they say..you MAY luck out and sneak thru on a waiver.Response by PO1 Dennis Herdina made Aug 23 at 2017 7:09 PM2017-08-23T19:09:10-04:002017-08-23T19:09:10-04:00SPC Margaret Higgins2861583<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="276938" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/276938-sgt-michael-martinek">SGT Michael Martinek</a>: Sergeant, I have a 100% disability rating.
