Failed run by two seconds then by seven seconds. I’m out processing and it’s hitting me pretty hard that I made a mistake and I need to come back in. Never been in a lick of trouble stellar soldier besides running... honorable discharge with really high as an 130 GT and from what jag told me I can come right back in after 90 days. Don’t have 214 until next week at my final out. What are the realistic chances of me getting back into the military? 11B would consider reclass due to new ACFT. No bs I like it strait forward. Can I re-enlist? Two years active 11B failed run by seconds on both test. Honorable discharge. Some of the "3" codes are waivable. None of the "4" codes are.
As soon as you are on the street, take your DD 214 to your nearesty recruiter and ask. He or she will give you the straight dope on your chances.
You will, of course, be aware of the fact that if you do get back in the same basic fitness standards are going to apply. If you haven't managed to improve your run time you will have the same result.
If you do manage to get straight back in after 90 days you will probably retain your stripe and you probably won't go back to basic training -- which means you need to take your fitness regime by the balls and hit it hard. There may be a wait list you will have sit on for awhile, wait times fluctuate. Food for thought though, you already tried Army, it didn't work out. A recruiter will be able to tell you what you will have to do. You may need a waiver.

Before you do that though you seriously need to kick it in gear and work out and do something about that run. If you failed two by increasing times, then you are going to have that same problem in the future unless you motivate and do something about it... Anything to trying to come back in has to go thru a recruiter, it will take a waiver for the chapter, and that will take time. 4 Suggest you pick out a gym when you get home and start making up for lost time. I don't give a damn about you or your failure, your fault, waivers to get back in after showing the world you couldn't pass a simple APFT are not easy, cause we wasted money/time on your already. We all have a story as to why we didn’t focus and pass my friend but at the end of the day it’s our fault and no ones else’s so try and be more positive if you go to a recruiter like that they won’t help you they still get credit for re enlisting you BUT not as much as a new recruit so you have to be a good guy basically to motivate them. Is your DD-214 says RE code 3 and 2 letter code is JFT (Physical standards) like mine then you will have to issue getting a waiver in 24 months there’s people who get back in after MOS conduct failure to adapt etc so it won’t be hard you just have to wait.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 1 at 2019 10:32 PM2019-10-01T22:32:39-04:002019-10-01T22:32:39-04:001SG Private RallyPoint Member5155986

I find it difficult in the Army to fail an APFT on two separate occasions. The Army has reconditioning programs to get Soldiers where they need to be coming off a record fail. Your chain of command can give you up to 90 days to get into compliance and most will grant those 90 days if you are a stellar Soldier. If you are a stellar Soldier than 90 days was more than enough time to get into compliance. All on this thread are correct, you will have to see a recruiter. I tell my young Soldiers who fail their runs to start running like their careers depend on it (because it does).Response by 1SG Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 22 at 2019 10:04 PM2019-10-22T22:04:58-04:002019-10-22T22:04:58-04:002019-07-11T20:43:36-04:00
