You just have to get your 4187 signed by your Brigade commander.
Email a copy of your ERB to [login to see] Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 31 at 2019 9:18 AM2019-05-31T09:18:13-04:002019-05-31T09:18:13-04:00SGM Erik Marquez4685587

Yes but...
Rear D is filled with three basic demographics
1: Those that could not deploy
2: Those that had obligations prioritized above deployment
3: Those chosen to fill the critical and vital roles needed for a successful rear D operation.
Deployed members suffer as do their families, when a command team short changes the rear D team.
SM in group 1 are not processed, handled, supported, separated properly when the command team short changes the rear D team.
SM in group 2 are not processed, handled, supported, properly when the command team short changes the rear D team.

So all that above, if a Read D command team gets a gain (you) that is in a group 3 category, it will be significantly harder to get an approval to go to an off post school.
If the Rear D CDR was set for success by the deployed unit commander AND that Read D Senior NCO and CDR have a profession long view of what is good for the unit, the force....they may allow you to go to RASP...

As few Rear D command teams are set for success by the deployed commander..... I think its a long shot, but only you will do as good a job as possible looking out for your career, so ask. You may get a pleasant surprise.

PS Private RallyPoint Member please update your profile, it has you listed as a civilian, better still, verify your profile.

ThanksResponse by SGM Erik Marquez made May 31 at 2019 11:03 AM2019-05-31T11:03:11-04:002019-05-31T11:03:11-04:002019-05-31T08:16:01-04:00
