You can go to OCS in the National Guard with 90 credit hours, but you must have a 4 year degree to promote to Captain and the Officer Ranks are either promote up or out.Response by CPT Lawrence Cable made Jul 17 at 2018 8:52 AM2018-07-17T08:52:06-04:002018-07-17T08:52:06-04:00CPT Stephanie Lincoln3800065<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You must have a minimum of 60 credit hours to begin OCS (unless things have changed, its been a titch since I have been to OCS mind you. You are given a certain amount of time to get your 4-year degree (or 120 credit hours). I believe you cannot get promoted to O3 unless you have the 120 credit hours unless that has changed. I am going off of almost 20 year old info because I was in OCS in 2001. ha haResponse by CPT Stephanie Lincoln made Jul 17 at 2018 8:55 AM2018-07-17T08:55:16-04:002018-07-17T08:55:16-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member3800277<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It used to be this way but now your bachelors must be completed prior to attending OCS.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 17 at 2018 10:06 AM2018-07-17T10:06:51-04:002018-07-17T10:06:51-04:00LTC Orlando Illi3800829<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-252880"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">
