This looks more like a twitter post then actual post you want people to respond to.Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Nov 19 at 2017 1:20 PM2017-11-19T13:20:24-05:002017-11-19T13:20:24-05:00SSG Guy Gould3105224<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's possible. It's a long process. First you go through the green to gold program and fulfill any obligations made in the process and then apply to the FLEP program. You wouldn't be the first one to do this. You should start networking with your company commander through the chain of command. He would be the one person in your company to help you complete your packet for green to gold. The, left, right, left one foot after the other until you become n officer and fulfill your obligations. Then, get with reassignments branch and ask about the FLEP program. It's doable.Response by SSG Guy Gould made Nov 19 at 2017 8:41 PM2017-11-19T20:41:46-05:002017-11-19T20:41:46-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member3266574<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I would also recommend getting with your local legal office and asking to speak with some previous FLEP officers as it is a very competitive program. They may offer some good advice.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 17 at 2018 2:14 PM2018-01-17T14:14:12-05:002018-01-17T14:14:12-05:001LT Private RallyPoint Member3491283<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a late response but a response nonetheless. You cannot branch into JAG as soon as you graduate/commission. What you need to do is apply for an Education Delay (Ed Delay) to go to law school then apply for the JAG Corps. Big Army will not pay for you to go to law school under ed delay like FLEP does but they will at least give you a shot to intern with them and apply once you graduate law school, it is not a for sure thing. The other route is to branch anything else, wait until you pin 1LT then apply for the FLEP. The downside on this, is that it is very competitive to get and you need to do it before you have 6 years of active duty service time.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 28 at 2018 10:14 PM2018-03-28T22:14:43-04:002018-03-28T22:14:43-04:002017-11-19T12:58:53-05:00
