I am doing an airborne contract having only 3 years left as well. Could she do command sponsorship and have me be stationed with her or would I have to stay conus since I have to finish my airborne contract? I tried reading about this in the ar and I could not find any information on this dual military couple. Or if someone has a contact email or number they can reference to me would be appreciated. Can I get stationed in Vilseck, Germany if I do command sponsorship through my wife while I'm in Fort Bragg, NC?2022-02-17T13:49:41-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member7531876<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am currently married to someone overseas. There is a small contingent of Airborne 11B in the 1-91 Cav in Graf. You can reenlist to move to another location before your three years of airborne is finished, if you're reenlisting to go to another airborne unit. Otherwise, you can both finish your three years and move somewhere else together.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 18 at 2022 5:04 AM2022-02-18T05:04:12-05:002022-02-18T05:04:12-05:00SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member7541107<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If she is also in the army you can apply for MACP. Then you can apply for joint domicile and a compassionate reassignment. However the remainder of your airborne contract may need it be completed. You can request the reassignment to an airborne unit there or try to somehow end your airborne time, but that would probably be difficult.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 24 at 2022 3:33 AM2022-02-24T03:33:41-05:002022-02-24T03:33:41-05:002022-02-17T13:49:41-05:00
