No, you have to have a minimum of 1 year experience as a MP. GT score of 110 and ST of 107, non-waiverable.

For the reserves, that is probably true, but for active duty you don't need to be an MP or have any LE experience.

There’s a waiver on the AD side...check out the website cid.army.mil and talk to your local CID office

Yes, you absolutely can. While MP is probably the most common prior MOS of CID Agents, they make up less than half of CID Agents. In my CIDSAC class there were medics, engineers, infantry, artillery, and several other MOSes. Most CID Agents I know were not MPs before becoming an Agent.

SPC (Join to see) You do need experience (see below; last bulllet), but it can be waived.

I would talk to your local CID, and get in contact with their recruiter.

When I was in, over 50% of the agents came from other than Military Police MOSs. It appears, they are trying to fix this.

Yes. There is a CID Pilot Program that allows you go into CID without any experience. I'm currently waiting on my 214 since i finished my contract with the reserve to submit the packet. This program also allows you to get in directly as a WO (i think is the Direct Accession Program, if you have a bachelors degree). Some people don't know about the program so talk directly to a recruiter or retention NCO. This is only for active duty as far as I know. You have to meet other requirements like GT and ST scores and the bachelors degree has to be LE related or finance related. During my process i have seen differences between the information online and what i have been required to submit. Another requirement is BLC, i don't have it either and I'm still able to submit my packet. I think this is because WOCS has 2 different programs. The 5 week for whoever has BLC and 7 weeks for those that haven't attended yet.

Send me a message if you need some more info on this. Google is good, but information always changes and sometimes don't get updated.
