SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3911777 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been talking to a recruiter lately about switching for the Guard to Active and one of the things I&#39;d really want is to go airborne. Does any one know if I&#39;d be likely to get that in my contract if I&#39;d switch? Can I get Airborne if I switch from NG to Active Duty? 2018-08-26T11:39:09-04:00 SPC Private RallyPoint Member 3911777 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I&#39;ve been talking to a recruiter lately about switching for the Guard to Active and one of the things I&#39;d really want is to go airborne. There is always a need for fresh knees and backs in all MOS. This list changes so keep checking. You’ll pick your job at MEPS, not with the Recruiter. You’ll need your 368 signed before you can start &amp; you need to pull your most recent PHA from AKO as well as your promotion orders, etc from your iPERMS. Prior service are governed by the HRC business rules. Current rules can be found at:<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://m.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/current-and-prior-service/continue-serving/active-duty/prior-service-business-rules.m.html">https://m.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/current-and-prior-service/continue-serving/active-duty/prior-service-business-rules.m.html</a><br /><br />This breaks down what MOSs you can retrain into based off of your rank. My advice is to pick a job you have interest in and worry about airborne later. Hope this helps. <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/319/682/qrc/header.png?1535329572"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://m.goarmy.com/careers-and-jobs/current-and-prior-service/continue-serving/active-duty/prior-service-business-rules.m.html">Prior Service Business Rules | GoArmy.com</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description">The Prior Service Business Rules acts as a guide for Soldiers who are interested in reenlisting in the regular Army.</p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 26 at 2018 8:26 PM 2018-08-26T20:26:13-04:00 2018-08-26T20:26:13-04:00 SFC Eric Williams 3916677 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Submit a DA4187 Response by SFC Eric Williams made Aug 28 at 2018 1:06 AM 2018-08-28T01:06:31-04:00 2018-08-28T01:06:31-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 3916763 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hell yeah you can!
