I was told at the end of BCT that I could submit it within 180 days but now my BT S1 needs to see the policy where it says so and I cant find it.Can I get a backdate rank/pay grade if I have transcripts with enough college credit?2020-04-17T19:03:37-04:00PV2 Private RallyPoint Member5787658<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I didn't have time to get the transcript in time when I enlisted. I had mine and proof of 3 yrs college ROTC so I came in as a PFC.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Apr 17 at 2020 7:11 PM2020-04-17T19:11:00-04:002020-04-17T19:11:00-04:002LT Private RallyPoint Member5788259<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I had a soldier who provided a transcript dated prior to her enlisted, I complete a DA 4187 and submitted it for approval. I'll commitment tomorrow with the regulation I used.Response by 2LT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 17 at 2020 10:56 PM2020-04-17T22:56:09-04:002020-04-17T22:56:09-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5788441<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No, that’s only an option for your initial enlistment. Once you sign the contract, you are not able to receive additional rank outside of the waiver/TIS/TIG processResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 18 at 2020 1:00 AM2020-04-18T01:00:43-04:002020-04-18T01:00:43-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5791675<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As was posted under SFC Hurlock's comments, you can get backdated. But you get 6 months to do the paperwork. I shipped for basic 3 days after my college graduation, which would have made me a SPC. However, because I shipped so quickly, I didn't have proof of my degree, and came in as a PFC. I got to DLI, gave my leadership my degree, and now it's like I had always been a specialist from the get go. Only reminder I have is that my erb has my PFC and SPC DoR as the same day. Get your paperwork to S1 sooner rather than later.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 19 at 2020 3:42 AM2020-04-19T03:42:39-04:002020-04-19T03:42:39-04:002020-04-17T19:03:37-04:00
