Can I change my MOS or am I stuck until I can reclass a year from end of contract?

I enlisted back in September as a 94E and don’t ship for basic until 20180702. Long story short I’m having second thoughts about this MOS and want to be in a combat arms job. Is there anything I can do to change now or am I stuck until I can reclass a year from end of contract?

You are under no obligation at this time. Make it clear to your recruiter you have no intentions on backing out. You just want to look at other MOS's. Just be damn sure what you pick is what you want.

ALSO...as a 94E, you can be selected for White House Communications Agency. Where I had dinner with more than one president, traveled the world and had a shit load of good times while assigned to Camp David.

94E is (or was) a great job. You will learn a LOT, which is useful in the real world environment. I was a 35E, which became 94E. I now work for the FBI.
