Can i carry my rifle while taking tramadol

I'm trying to find the AR that deals with carrying weapons while taking medications like Tramadol

I think that would be more of a personal choice. But know that if an accident happens while taking these meds you will be charged under UCMJ. So don't take the decision lightly. I was on tramodol and still performed my duties which is why I liked that medicine. Good luck to you.

I believe that would be covered on your profile rather than a regulation.

If you are concerned, bring it up to your physician.

There is not a regulation that will cover what you can or can not due while taking specific medications. If you are concerned about the side effects and/or what you should or should not do while on the medications you should discuss it with your CoC and the issuing provider.

Yeah there isn't really an AR regarding medications and carrying your weapon, but as stated you can still be charged under UCMJ for any accidents. Most of the time that will be covered by the profile you receive. When in doubt ask your CoC and your Doc that wrote the script

Looking at all the side effects, i've probably had all of them naturally while handling weapons in garrison and combat

The first thing they did when I was on muscle relaxers or pain killers was a profile prohibiting me from carrying weapons. I believe Tramadol was high on the list of no-nos. It should be an easy question to get answered by the docs.
