PFC Private RallyPoint Member 4694259 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m on a P2 permanent profile. I failed 1 PT test before being put on the profile and failed 3 PT tests after within the last 3 months. Is there a possibility of my CoC trying to chapter me for apft failures or does my permanent profile keep them from chaptering me that way? I’m worried because I cannot be seen to ask for a MEB for another few weeks. Can I be separated being on P2 permanent profile but failing apft’s? Or can they only separate through a MEB being on P2 profile? 2019-06-03T17:25:54-04:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 4694259 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m on a P2 permanent profile. How do I know? I have a P2 profile. What will get you Chaptered is your APFT failures. Your P2 will not save you from being an APFT Chapter. And you probably will not be granted an MEB for a P2. A P3, yes. But not a P2. You have to pass them to stay in the Army. You do not get an MEB for a P2. Keep these records as if your life depends on it because, later in life, your livelihood might.<br />If you are P2 because of something that happened in the army, get ahold of the VA as soon as you are 120 days out and start your disability compensation application. If your PA asks you what can you do in an APFT but you can’t do all of them, do the Alt events. If that’s a no go, be prepared to be chaptered. If there are events you can’t meet the standard on you should have told them. Now that being stated, how do you figure your getting an MEB with only three months of time of seeing doctor? Be prepared to be chartered, you have no argument toward any other form of separation, unless you are re-evaluated at a P3. Good luck. You will likely, very likely, to not be MEB for a P2 profile. MEB is triggered for people that have P3 or P4 profiles. Your best course of action is to just pass a PT test. If you cant do that, you&#39;re looking at a ticket out of the army. It&#39;s an honorable discharge though.
