Can I be prevented from earning rewards for a deployment I am currently on because I was flagged for failing a record ACFT?

I recently injured my back during a diagnostic ACFT and have less then a month to try and prepare for my record. I went to a army doctor, it two too to make a diagnoses and they didn't give me a profile. I was told if I am unable to pass the record ACFT I won't receive any rewards I might earn on this deployment is that true?

There are no record ACFTs. You can't be flagged for failing an ACFT

I was shot in the arm during Iraq deployment . Could not do Push ups for a considerable time. Still received deployment awards. Sounds like BS

I wouldn't worry about the ACFT since it's not official yet and there's not even been further word on it for April.

I would be going back to the doctor to get a profile while recovering. Did you mean to say you had two doctors who made diagnoses or they made multiple diagnoses but didn't give a profile? Either way you have to advocate for your health. No one else will so if you're hurt, go back and ask for a temporary profile so you can recover safely.

I saw someone get an AAM for an end of tour award and they got an Art 15 during the deployment...I mean they could not give you an award if you're flagged but right now, you're not flagged.

Currently there is no record ACFT so that sounds iffy.

As for the awards, they can be processed during the period you were eligible. Most service awards are earned with the first 30 days of being in country. Things like end of tour and impact awards are of course different and are usually awarded at the end of the deployment or during demob.

Doesn't mean they always will be and of course that doesn't mean someone won't try and delay the process for their own reasons. Usually wrong ones.

I would worry about your recovery, and of course document everything your unit is telling you. Every. Little. Detail. You know, for reasons.

Your CO can prevent you from many things--awards being one. Many past CO awarded the "earned reward"; however, they denied promotion. You are in a "Catch 22".

If you are flagged you may not be given personal decorations, you can however receive a service awards, (Campaign medals, OSR, etc)
