I know of a few who have done that. Obtaining the commission was dependent on completing the degree. Policy changes monthly in the Army so I would call your local ROTC to confirm.Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made May 25 at 2014 11:19 PM2014-05-25T23:19:37-04:002014-05-25T23:19:37-04:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member135170<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can and it will actually be to your advantage. It is possible, and you should contact the ROTC ROO (Recruiting and Operations Officer) at the university that you wish to study. Hopefully, the ROTC BN is located on campus. The ROO should be able to provide you with the up-to-date policy re: age and commissioning active vs. reserve components. I'm not current with those standards.<br /><br />To reiterate, regarding your question on pursuing ROTC and a Master's degree, the answer is yes.Response by 1LT Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 5 at 2014 8:31 PM2014-08-05T20:31:51-04:002014-08-05T20:31:51-04:00LTC Private RallyPoint Member1299724<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you can. You'll need to contact the Recruiting Operations Officer, ROO, at the school you want to attend and discuss the details but it should be pretty easy to square away. Depending on when you went to basic you might get to skip the MS100 and MS200 classes. You'll need an age waiver though done you'll be commissioning outside the age window. I don't see that as being an issue either. I know plenty of officers who have done it.Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 13 at 2016 9:58 AM2016-02-13T09:58:45-05:002016-02-13T09:58:45-05:00COL Ronald Diana1300054<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think you can in the Army ROTC program.
