Can I apply for the Post GI Bill while still serving, or am I required to wait until I'm released to get approved?

I get released on January but I wanna do Spring Classes online.

You do not have to wait, but I highly recommend speaking to an education counselor to ensure you maximize your benefits. There are other financial assistance programs you may be able to utilize.

I definitely agree with SSG Behnke. Talk to your ESO to learn how you can best leverage your education benefits WITHOUT tapping into your GI Bill.

I've been able to pursue an education up to a Master's degree without touching my VA education benefits.

You can use it, but I would recommend that you don't until you get out ? Because you will not get the BAH amount at all being active duty. Now, there are other options for you to use as well to help you for education benefits.
