Big test, off site lab that required travel ..tell your leadership in advance, give a call in the morning so we knew you were alive and ok, stop by after and show your faceResponse by SGM Erik Marquez made Jun 24 at 2016 10:17 AM2016-06-24T10:17:13-04:002016-06-24T10:17:13-04:00SGM Matthew Quick1663041<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The Education Incentive is a local policy (not a reenlistment option/program) normally for Soldiers who reenlist under Option 2 (Current Station Stabilization) for 3-6 years.<br /><br />You're not "reenlisting to go to school for 6 months", but based on individual qualifications, you'll get a semester to focus on civilian education. Depending on course load, you may still be required to be at accountability formations, conduct PRT, and participate in other mandatory functions.Response by SGM Matthew Quick made Jun 25 at 2016 12:03 PM2016-06-25T12:03:20-04:002016-06-25T12:03:20-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1672212<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is a command policy. commander, at her choosing, may or may not have the six months of school policy in place. This will not follow you to another duty station or unit. This is just an in-house policy. See your chain of command/no support channel for more information. <br /><br />I have personally seen this work for some soldiers, but again, it is totally up to your commander.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 28 at 2016 7:33 PM2016-06-28T19:33:40-04:002016-06-28T19:33:40-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member5652051<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What are my options now, that 128 is shut down at fort benning.
