For ops you just talk to your local station (if you are on a base) if you can pass their PT you have a chance to be selected for selection. At least that's how it was when I did it. But your pt score also has to be at least a 260 first I think before you can take their pt. If you get in from there you can opt to forces

I worked at Selection Years Ago, I was assigned to SWC Halo and out at Camp Mackall during Robin Sage, etc,... I also worked in selection and all three phases at one point of another. I am sure things may have changed since I was there. But ask away...
