All phase 2 locations were on the same schedule, so you could not tell which one you were going to based on phase 1 start date.<br /><br />It has been a while, though. You could have as few as 7-14 days notice to move your family to either side of the continental United States. The best place for this info is the Facebook page “Fort Sam Houston 68 series AIT and thereafter family support”. Your husband has to be the one to be added to the page since it is for family members only. The admins there can tell him which location starts in that time frame. But I went through in 2006 it has been the same since then and many years prior. As previously stated by others everyone starts at Sam as you already know. But if you have to recycle phase 1 you will obtain a new phase 2 site with your new class. The phase 2 sites unless they have changed are Ft Bliss, SAMC, FT Gordon, Walter Reed and FT Lewis.(JBLM) unless they have changed over the past several years.
