In previous drawdowns any blemishes or other discriminators which separated a candidate for promotion from the pack were useful for board members to use to screen people from promotion.<br />Your buddy is hopefully talking to JAG already. They could steer him towards making a good decision and perhaps even represent him in the process or more likely help with the appeal. I just think that it is unfair that they are doing this to him causing him and his family a medical hardship putting him on a hostile environment.
