If there are no issues with their scalp or neck it shouldn't be a problem to maintain the grooming standard.Response by SSgt Christophe Murphy made Jun 24 at 2020 10:02 AM2020-06-24T10:02:01-04:002020-06-24T10:02:01-04:00SSG Carlos Madden6038577<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Certainly not an official answer but my guess would be 'yes' since a shaving profile is assumed to apply to the face and nowhere else. That's an assumption though and now I'm wondering what the profile actually states. Does it specify "face" or "facial hair?"Response by SSG Carlos Madden made Jun 24 at 2020 10:47 AM2020-06-24T10:47:25-04:002020-06-24T10:47:25-04:00SFC Michael Hasbun6038630<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Shaving profiles list specific areas of applicability and maximum lengths. They aren't generic "get out of shaving free" passes.Response by SFC Michael Hasbun made Jun 24 at 2020 10:53 AM2020-06-24T10:53:08-04:002020-06-24T10:53:08-04:00SPC Stewart Smith6065532<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes. The shaving profile will state what areas cannot be shaven. Mine was for underneath my chin and neck. <br />If the hair gets ingrown, that's where they don't need to shave. <br />If you have a soldier that has a shaving profile and shaves their head, but not their neck, it's probably because they get ingrown hair, causing bumps that get cut open when trying to shave.Response by SPC Stewart Smith made Jul 2 at 2020 3:38 PM2020-07-02T15:38:06-04:002020-07-02T15:38:06-04:002020-06-24T08:28:07-04:00
