Was something mission essential and MRE's were prvided to add manhours to the task at hand? Mission is a subjective term. It could mean prepping for a convoy or MOUT operations or it could be doing a PMCS. When you progress a little further in the ranks and have Soldiers under you (unless you already do), make attempts to work the schedule around DFAC times. Heck, even if they have to get a to-go plate to come back and keep working, keep your Soldiers feed. An Army runs on its stomach.
