Can a E-5 in the NG date a E-4 in the NG? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-a-e-5-in-the-ng-date-a-e-4-in-the-ng <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The E-5 is not a platoon SGT or squad leader. Both have a different MOS. Both are M-Day soldiers. Work in the same building. Now would I date someone in my organization in the military, absolutely not. Every relationship you have ends badly except for the person you marry and then those sometime as well. Quite a few in the organization are going to know their business, especially if it is a &#39;slow news day.&#39; One of the people need to be prepared to find work elsewhere if it goes bad. Not saying this will happen but it is something to consider. Should they though? I would strongly discourage it because if the relationship fails, problems in the workplace could then arise. They may feel awkward around each other, not communicate as necessary to do their job, retaliate by tampering with accessible information regarding the other person, etc. SPC Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 14 Apr 2021 23:01:22 -0400 2021-04-14T23:01:22-04:00 Response by CW3 Kevin Storm made Apr 15 at 2021 1:59 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/can-a-e-5-in-the-ng-date-a-e-4-in-the-ng?n=6904589&urlhash=6904589 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The rule on frat is different in the Guard then it is in AD and AR. As each state has its own rules. One state may be more lenient than others. I would ask your Chain for clarification in writing if possible i.e. what state regulation covers it, not just word of mouth.
