I'm quarantineing from my wife and my leadership said her dependent ID could be flagged because we live together making her a covid risk. I didn't test positive, I was exposed to someone that always wears a mask, and I have no symptoms. My wife needs to go to work and take an exam for the state board of cosmontology. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Can a dependent's ID get flagged like a CAC card?2021-01-05T11:23:26-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member6634008<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For any MPs out there can a dependent's ID get flaged on the blotter? I'm not familiar with the specifics but I know that many dependents have been flagged and barred, primarily for criminal activity, conviction, or association.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 5 at 2021 11:42 AM2021-01-05T11:42:30-05:002021-01-05T11:42:30-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6634173<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If you're quarantined and you live with your wife she needs to quarantine as well. She's putting everyone else in that test at risk. All she needs is a copy of your quarantine documents and she will he able to retest. The fact you have no symptoms means nothing in regard to her ability to transmit the disease.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 5 at 2021 12:17 PM2021-01-05T12:17:05-05:002021-01-05T12:17:05-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member6634417<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I had to quarantine back in December because I came in contact with someone who tested positive. The COVID hotline's guidance here at FT. Huachuca was for me to quarantine, but my wife and daughter could still go about business as usual. My daughter was still allowed to go to daycare and my wife could continue living her life like normal as well. Now, if I started to develop symptoms I was to let the COVID hotline know and from there I would have had to get tested and until that test came back everyone in my household would not leave. I ended up not having it. Maybe there is different guidance at different bases. I don't know why that would be, but who knows.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 5 at 2021 1:39 PM2021-01-05T13:39:51-05:002021-01-05T13:39:51-05:00MAJ Byron Oyler6635196<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your unit has zero business contacting the MPs to restrict your wife's access regarding COVID without contacting Army Public Health nursing (APHN) at your post.Response by MAJ Byron Oyler made Jan 5 at 2021 9:30 PM2021-01-05T21:30:01-05:002021-01-05T21:30:01-05:00Col Ron Jenkins6635351<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, a dependent ID can be flagged.
