I would think with the sexual assaults and other acts in the SSQ, this would be the go to mitigation factor for at least new SSQ buildings.  As a leader I can only make checks at random times, I can't protect my Soldiers every hour of everyday. So I was wondering if there was a push to make the barracks more secure with cameras or not.  Cameras in the SSQ? 2014-04-12T11:04:59-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 100051 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Who has cameras in the SSQs? In addition to that we have doors that auto lock be hide the soldier, but they are only on the female side of the barracks and our female soldier state that they are being singled out since the males don't have those doors. I have corrected them many times and counseled one who called them rape doors. <div>I endorse the cameras but the alarms on their windows and the "SHARP DOORS" are to much and making the female soldier feel like prisoners. </div> Response by SFC Timothy Riser made Apr 12 at 2014 1:28 PM 2014-04-12T13:28:05-04:00 2014-04-12T13:28:05-04:00 2014-04-12T11:04:59-04:00
