They were told that they werent taking single parents. They told him to lose custudy or get married. He didnt state why that was said. Are there any recruiters on RallyPoint that know the reason why they arent taking single parents?Bringing in a new Soldier to the Army.2014-02-25T20:43:30-05:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member64573<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I am in Delaware on PCS leave. Not every Soldier has the ability to have their kid(s) cared for by immediate family for long term. It is supposedly easier on the Army to deny single Soldiers entry into the Army across the board than to get them in on a case by case basis evaluating wether or not they have long term care available for their kids at the drop of a hat in the event of deployment.Response by SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 25 at 2014 8:55 PM2014-02-25T20:55:21-05:002014-02-25T20:55:21-05:00SGM Matthew Quick64647<div class="images-v2-count-1"><div class="content-picture image-v2-number-1" id="image-1632"> <div class="social_icons social-buttons-on-image">

It depends on if this person is looking to go active or reserve. If they are looking at USAR a waiver can be submitted. Waivers like this are really on a case by case basis. Sounds like to me the person they talked to does not want to do the work.
