I disagree. I do however hate a dominating personality in a woman, I hate attitude from anyone but especially in a woman. Not marriage material. I blame feminism for this. I am not saying women should have submissive personalities per say, I just hate aggressiveness in a personality, outside of our fighting forces ( and that is when applicable).

Back to the topic at hand. I value intelligence within a woman, it is one of the traits i look for in a dating partner. If I can't have a conversation that is carried by both her and I than she isn't the one for me. It is okay if you don't know something, but part of possessing intelligence; is the ability to ask and look for an explanation to things.

If she can't carry a conversation and challenge me intellectually, I want nothing to do with her and will lose interest fast.

I think there is some truth to that ..I know highly intelligent women prefer highly intelligent men and had no interest in dumb jocks or guys who majored in Hockey and minored in Beer in colleges in New England..

This discussion reminds me of the Daphne vs. Velma discussion from Scooby-Doo.

It is refreshing to see that men recognize that women can have beauty AND brains.

Intelligence is different from an "always right" personality, which is a turn-off whether there is romantic interest or not. I am not sure that I would classify that as feminism as I have seen both sexes suffer from the "I am the smartest person in the room" syndrome.

Disagree. I've dated a few women who were much smarter and more educated than me. Intelligence I can handle. What I won't stand for is a woman who will do her best to make me feel stupid.
