What are the distractions that bother you from focusing your efforts at work?

There seems to be a never ending series of meetings of questionable value. Fortunately, I have managed to conference call in to these life-sucking events to ensure that while everyone else is thumping their chest and ensuring that they have a job tomorrow, I am able to continue with the work at hand.
Honestly, given the technology available today, do we really need to have 2 hour meetings to discuss 15 minutes worth of material while spending 1 hour and 45 minutes trying to impress our value on others?

The work. If it wasn't for the work, I would not be distracted from what I really want to do like post things on RP, playing games on my smartphone, or talking with co-workers. Why is it that once I get some work done, there always seems to be more that needs to get done too? Why can't someone just stop all this annoying work from filling my day, so I can focus on the really important things like posting on RP?
