I'd be more than willing to help you do this. I've been a flight medic for 3 years now, and it so happens that the unit that is standing up there at Fort Benning where you're located, is lead by my former PSG here at Bliss and one of the best NCO's I've ever worked with. Accept my contact request and send me a message and I'll get you pointed in the right direction. Congratulations on your decision to take the next step as a medic!Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 5 at 2015 9:54 AM2015-10-05T09:54:24-04:002015-10-05T09:54:24-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member1017227

Below is the link to the flight medic course.

http://www.cs.amedd.army.mil/Portlet.aspx?ID=73b51009-38ce-4f01-9700-3a8d7d1589feResponse by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 5 at 2015 9:59 AM2015-10-05T09:59:51-04:002015-10-05T09:59:51-04:00SGT Ben Keen1017243

Here's a thread that might help...

https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/what-is-the-selection-process-like-for-flight-medic-training

Good evening, all. I am looking to find out if anyone here has recently went to Flight Medic training. I am looking at applying for the F2 program. I realize I would have to attend F3 training at Rucker prior to going. As I am preparing my packet, I am wondering, about how long it took everyone to hear back as to whether or not they got picked up for it, and how much time was between the acceptance and the time that they reported. Any and all...

Branch told me the best way to get into the school right now is to get with your retention NCO and reenlist for it. Retention has the most slots at the moment, and there's a bonus as well. I was a civilian Paramedic (still have my national cert) for 5 years and will graduate AIT here at Ft Sam as a 68W in a couple days. I wanted to fly civilian side but never had the opportunity. I feel my knowledge base and skill set could better be utilized there. My orders are to 2/1 AR at Bliss. What steps do i need to take to get on a helicopter? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Reading an earlier comment, sounds like the best way to approach this to meet up with the retention NCO, recruiter and get a contract for flight medic. Can anyone confirm or deny this? What are some of the physical requirements for flight school and does flight medicine differ greatly from normal paramedicine? Thank you ahead of time.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 3 at 2017 11:54 AM2017-08-03T11:54:44-04:002017-08-03T11:54:44-04:002015-10-05T09:49:27-04:00
