What should be worn to Basic Training graduation? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/basic-training-attire

Hello all, I have more of an opinion question. My girlfriend is graduating basic training in a month. She wants me to wear my army asu but of course its a little too small for me now. Since I am now a Firefighter I have a class a uniform that mirrors the look and feel to that of an army class a, would it be appropriate to wear that instead? I just ask because I want to show her respect by adhering to her wishes. Thank you all in advance for your help. BUT...if she truly wants you to wear your Army ASUs, you'll need to get them tailored to fit again....and you'll want to make sure you're within AR 670-1 regulations since no one from the Cadre side of the house will know that you're no longer in service.

I would recommend you contact her very soon and ask if the firefighter uniform will work for her in lieu of the ASU. That's my thought.

I'd rather show up as a Fire Fighter than a SPC (especially at a Basic Graduation). She should probably appreciate it more too.
