The military is not something everyone can handle and those select few (1% of the population) chose the harder path. Serving in the military is not only the most difficult thing an individual can endure, it's the feeling of self worth, purpose, and overall satisfaction of making the world a better place. Families of these selfless individuals also feel the demands/constraints of this lifestyle and the feeling of comfort of should come without hesitation. Even though the compensation will never match the duty to protect our freedom understand that it's not about the money. It's about protecting the right to remain a free and unified nation.
