History has proven an air campaign will not work alone. And that eventually more and more ground troops would be needed. I agree with 1SG Private RallyPoint Member that we pulled out to early. It's not even shocking how hypocritical some on the left are after attacking President Bush in Iraq and Afganistan, but now support and justify this adminstrations actions in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Egypt etc. Let's face it ever since the first 200 or so returned to Iraq we have had boots on the ground. Don't give me this crap they are not combat troops. Are they just going to talk their way out of a hostile situation. I think not! LTC West we need you as President! Just my humble opinion. My apologies if I offended anyone.

God Help Us! Because they have kicked all of the experienced vets out.
In 1991 as we were packing to leave Saudi some of my battle buddies that were Vietnam vets and I were talking and they said "we will be back here because we didn't finish it", " our children and our children's children will be dealing with these people for some time"
My wife and two of my children have served in combat since that fateful statement.

Let's end these "cutbacks" before we lose too many valuable military members with combat experience who can aid in the upcoming missions! (Did we ever truly stop being at "war"?)

This sequel is going to suck. But in all seriousness, I don't believe we should have left when we did. Iraq wasn't ready. However, the Iraqi government wasn't willing to keep us there with certain stipulations.
