Please click on these tiny sample of posters used during WWII. The Greatest Generation. Our nation owes them everything. Times change and so must we, but was our Greatest Generation wrong? Was our nation just unconstitutional? I'm having a hard time coming up with a poster that would work for today that everyone would rally around. If "In God We Trust" is deemed offensive or unconstitutional, when does it come off almighty dollar?

I'm going to use some strong language here, but I think it's necessary to properly convey my point.

Why is it our society can generally agree that a person in a position of authority or influence should not say something like:

"We ought to send all those wetbacks back to Mexico and shoot 'em at the border if they try to come back." or "Nothing good has come out of the Middle East since those pedophile-worshiping rag-heads took over."

Yet, we collectively shuffle our feet and look the other way when someone in a position of authority or influence says something like: "We ought to round up all the faggots and stick 'em in camps."

Why is it we have no problem censoring pejoratives with race, religion, ethnicity, etc, but sexuality is still in open season? Better yet, why is it suddenly too "PC" or "intolerant of free ideas" to even suggest that sexuality be given the same?

It makes it really difficult to have a logical discussion, when you're not allowed to have opinions or your life is threatened if you disagree.

I hope you're right sir. I'm beyond tired of Political Correctness in this country. A well intentioned initiative has become a political tool to stifle free speech and impose self-censorship.

Let me be brutally honest as well because I think 'political correctness' devises ways of limiting free speech. What words are offensive and then deferring to some study as positive that something is true. One example, from time to time you hear things like liberals are smarter, better educatied or that gays are intrinsically more intelligent. Is this true? Or is this a game of manipulation?

We are essentially codifying speech and expanding that institution but only for conservatives. Liberals have established that reverse discrimination does not exist. Ask Alan Bakke about that. Or that blacks cannot be racist or that gays cannot act in a militant way and that militancy cannot be considered tactless and just as ruthless as gay bashers and bigots.

The latest trend is to bash patriotism. It is one thing to be a jingoist and another to be proud of your nation. Liberals use their talking points like Stolen Valor is not important and Michael Moore's demagoguery as okay. The attacks on big business is another aspect of liberal jargonism. They sell the notion that big pharmacies are inherently corrupt and sell that as a package. (Big Corporations are conservative).

Have you ever checked out Al Gore's past? Big oil and tobacco. He also used to be Pro-Life but he found his home in Big Government, the most costly and poorly run corporation in America.

I am not one to go the route, that someone else does it too. That is a strategy used by the left to keep this fallacy of conservative greed firmly planted on the right. That is a non-argument, acting like a child and saying that his brother or sister did it.

When you question Climate Change and it being man-made and they marry the two ideas into yet another package. The idea that pollution should be the objective rather under the umbrella of fatal Climate Change caused by man. We can cleanup the atmosphere without a large political power grab that punishes the tax payer. Liberals talk out of their collective asses when they defer to THEIR experts as the end-all proof that conservatives hate Children, Gays, the Poor, and any other -ism that they can exploit.

Then they use the idea that only Republicans are greedy. Does Heinz Ketchup ring any bells? And you never ever hear of Democrats being greedy because I seem to remember a certain NC Democrat who cheated on his wife and is a billionaire. Oh and let's not forget that some of the democrats biggest supporters are liberal and democrat. From Teddy 'Ruxpin" Turner to the myriad actor jerkoffs like Sean Penn or Al Gore who reference Republicans as having an extra chromosome.

You have your nameless gods and use terms to limit speech. You try that liberal BS citing 'Critical Thinking' for example but my questions is. Do you know what you are talking about? Do you realize the extremists on the left think conservatives need re-education on the environment and any class to achieve that would be tyranny and a state-controlled monitoring of beliefs and values.

That should scare you and oh, there are fake accounts on RP and they are pervasive and they adapt is all that I will say.
