CPT Private RallyPoint Member3223908<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I bought a set of noise cancelling headphones last week with a gift card I received for Christmas. Overall I like them, but when listening to music, audiobooks, etc at low volume I notice a subtle squeal (more accurately it sounds a little like someone scratching a record) on the left side. It's pretty subtle, but it can get distracting at times. I thought maybe it was some type of feedback from the noise cancelling feature (it only makes that sound when that feature is activated), but I'm not sure why it would only happen on one side. Does this sound normal?Audiophiles (or pretty much anyone with noise cancelling headphones): Is it normal to hear a "squeal" when listening to music at low volumes?2018-01-03T20:51:57-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member3223908<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I bought a set of noise cancelling headphones last week with a gift card I received for Christmas. I know that the jack I plug into my computer can be touchy, and if it isn't perfectly plugged in it can cause some weird static through the headphones. What kind did you buy?Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 3 at 2018 9:05 PM2018-01-03T21:05:53-05:002018-01-03T21:05:53-05:00PO1 Kevin Dougherty5384135<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Nope, but then again I mostly use my NC headphones for when I am doing loud stuff, mowing, woodworking etc.Response by PO1 Kevin Dougherty made Dec 26 at 2019 10:04 PM2019-12-26T22:04:06-05:002019-12-26T22:04:06-05:002018-01-03T20:51:57-05:00
