If you are dental readiness class (DRC) 3 or 4, yes, make an appointment and go to dental. If you are DRC 1 or 2, no, focus on school. It's in your best interest to get it if you have any reason to suspect you might have any kind of issue. I honestly can't remember if I went during AIT and I was in AIT 16 weeks. You are supposed to get a dental exam but because of covid they are only doing emergency treatment, which is class 3 and above. Basically your med pros have to be red. So unless you have pain they won't do anything.
