Most recent problem I emailed branch and was told Fort wainwright was available. I called them the next morning to ask to be put on assignment and was told nothing was available. What should I do? Call branch everyday and keep trying? Will this put me in a bad place with my branch manager?Assignment problems with branch managers2015-03-25T18:18:30-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member551629<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Having problems with branch and getting a assignment for some time now. Have you asked the branch manager specifically about how to follow up? Have you informed them to give you "first available" and been put on a list?Response by CPT Zachary Brooks made Mar 25 at 2015 6:24 PM2015-03-25T18:24:44-04:002015-03-25T18:24:44-04:00SFC Private RallyPoint Member3558361<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Go to your S1 and ask for a printout of requesitions for your MOS and grade. It will show you what is available, it's the same list branch is looking at. They won't be able to tell something is not available if it is on your printout, you can give them the requesitions number and they can see what you see. I've done it Everytime I PCS, I have always chosen where I go.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 19 at 2018 11:25 AM2018-04-19T11:25:28-04:002018-04-19T11:25:28-04:002015-03-25T18:18:30-04:00
