I got an invite on LinkedIn from "Mary Garcia" although the name tag looks like it says "Leavy" or something close to that. Pretty sure this is a fraud. What say you?

I wouldn't accept. However, she could have married Mr. Garcia after the pic. It's possibly legit, but I don't accept LinkedIn invitations from people I don't know.

Let's see...
Shoulder boards look like BG stars.
No crossed rifles.
Looks like an MI Regimental Crest.
Even at a glance, quite a few things stand out.

I got the same linked in invitation but with a different picture. A woman (not in uniform) standing in front of a map with headphones on. Same name and "infantry officer" as the job title. I chuckled and deleted it.

When I worked with COL Leahy, at Belvoir, she was getting ready to pin BG. Looks a lot like the photo. Definitely some type of hoax to do something bad. You can download GO photos all day long on Google.

I just check that profile out on LI. Had a default message returned indicating "Sorry, this profile couldn't be displayed." Whoever/Whatever that was about, it looks like this profile has disappeared from LinkedIn. You may have caught a poser... (?)

As of Jan, 2016, there have been no female officers entered into Infantry Branch. And another dead giveaway is that Infantry (make or female) would be sporting the Cord of the Gods (the Infantry cord) on their shoulder. This picture bears no such cord or crossed rifle insignia. So the fraudulent title is made apparent.

No presently not a single one. Also pretty sure the Shoulder boards have the wrong color for infantry.
