Understanding that there is a variety of civilian side careers that this MOS can flow into is my main interest in it. Have a few questions, thanks in advance

1. What can I generally expect to do during drill weekends or AT?

2. As a 20 level are there multiple positions in which I can be slotted, and if so are there some I should try and get into or some I should avoid?

3. In addition to deployment opportunities, are there ADOS opportunities and how often do they come up?

4. What is the continued training and development like in this MOS or any certifications I can earn on the Army side that I can use in the civilian side? As an 88N, what should I expect to do during drills or AT? What types of positions and training opportunities can I pursue? 2019-10-20T23:30:46-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5149673

Looking at this MOS and a few others as a reclass option. The transportation officer worked for me. A GS 11. I sent him home. Jim Tapscott. Jesus freak. Do you believe in god he asked at a interview. I’d look into that. From a Sea Port TC point of view, during BA we have to make our own training with shipping labels, ship load plans, working the flow of traffic in marshalling yards. The great thing about 88 series and 88N specifically is that for AT we often do real life missions such as sending/receiving tactical vehicles at Fort McCoy. Be friendly with the civilian truck drivers, but don't let them boss you around.

Other training for our MOS:
Hazmat (required to deploy)
ICODES
GATES (railway)
TCAIMS--II Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 3 at 2020 7:15 PM 2020-03-03T19:15:20-05:00 2020-03-03T19:15:20-05:00 2019-10-20T23:30:46-04:00
