As a street to seat applicant, is it beneficial to seek out CWO3/5 LORS instead of using people with whom you have long-term relationships? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/as-a-street-to-seat-applicant-is-it-beneficial-to-seek-out-cwo3-5-lors-instead-of-using-people-with-whom-you-have-long-term-relationships <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a street to seat applicant, is it beneficial to seek out CWO3/5 LORS instead of using six people with whom you have long-term relationships? I&#39;ve got my 6 and had planned on submitting my packet by the Nov board but I&#39;m waiting on my SIFT (date has been moved twice already-and not by me), so I was contemplating this substitution. Any thoughts? I would not want someone I just met, whether a CWO or not, to write a letter of recommendation SrA John Monette Fri, 30 Nov 2018 18:35:52 -0500 2018-11-30T18:35:52-05:00 Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 30 at 2018 7:31 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/as-a-street-to-seat-applicant-is-it-beneficial-to-seek-out-cwo3-5-lors-instead-of-using-people-with-whom-you-have-long-term-relationships?n=4172592&urlhash=4172592 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You MUST have a senior WO LOR for your packet. Whether you know them or not, you have to find one to sit down with. All they are doing is evaluating your packet, and the interview they have with you for the LOR. Not a big deal. I have a CW4 I never met before so mine. It’s common. But the army has every right to be cynical of that and I am sure a seasoned Chief Warrant Officer is pretty good at determining wether or not a candidate is somebody they want to work with. It is obviously a dangerous job so they are gonna be very critical. Brad Powers Fri, 30 Nov 2018 20:11:39 -0500 2018-11-30T20:11:39-05:00 2018-11-30T15:50:30-05:00
