Or, at the very least, speak to the person about it to eliminate the problem at the lowest level.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 8:29 AM2019-02-20T08:29:22-05:002019-02-20T08:29:22-05:00COL John McClellan4384009<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Start with the Army Values...let these guide you!Response by COL John McClellan made Feb 20 at 2019 8:43 AM2019-02-20T08:43:19-05:002019-02-20T08:43:19-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member4384288<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your obligations is to SAY SOMETHINGResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 10:16 AM2019-02-20T10:16:19-05:002019-02-20T10:16:19-05:00CPT Aaron Kletzing4384492<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You have an obligation to say somethingResponse by CPT Aaron Kletzing made Feb 20 at 2019 11:29 AM2019-02-20T11:29:49-05:002019-02-20T11:29:49-05:00SP5 Peter Keane4384823<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It appears GySgt Olson is the only one giving you the correct info. An investigation can be done internally or officially with the Division. Laws, rule, and regulations exist to help you decide on the correct course of action. We need to do our utmost to protect women from sexual harassment, especially since it is going up.Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made Feb 20 at 2019 1:50 PM2019-02-20T13:50:02-05:002019-02-20T13:50:02-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member4386025<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Report it.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 20 at 2019 7:56 PM2019-02-20T19:56:45-05:002019-02-20T19:56:45-05:00MSgt Michael Smith4387269<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You said you are personally not a witness? So someone, possibly a victim, told you about a situation. You should encourage that person to report the situation. If you report it, you are reporting hearsay. There's nothing wrong with reporting it, but I doubt if there will be any action taken on hearsay. This is a hard situation that I have (unfortunately) been in before. Your best option here is to speak with the victim and strongly encourage them to report the situation. Explain that here are plenty of ways to report anonymously. Now if you think this situation is effecting the unit, or the morale/welfare of this person, then you can and should talk to your superiors about it, and seek their guidance. But don't be surprised if it all backfires on you in the end. Like I said these situations are hard.Response by MSgt Michael Smith made Feb 21 at 2019 8:36 AM2019-02-21T08:36:27-05:002019-02-21T08:36:27-05:00MAJ Ken Landgren4650242<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>flounder eyes :\Response by MAJ Ken Landgren made May 19 at 2019 5:59 PM2019-05-19T17:59:34-04:002019-05-19T17:59:34-04:002019-02-20T07:02:42-05:00
