Also, your BAH earned is what you were entitled to at the time. Bill is administered by the VA, it is not &quot;service&quot; specific. However, if you were to use the gi bill while on active duty, in the army, they may not pay the VHA... It happened to me with my compensation. I was making payments when I returned to active duty and two months they garnished my pay.
