SPC Sven Pacot41862<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have been informed that the Army automatically rates Veterans at 50% for PTSD after going through MEB. Does anyone have credible witness to this statement I have been given by an old battle going through this himself? My understanding has been that you would be rated from 0-100 based on severity.&nbsp; The reason I ask is I am transiitioning from IRR to a reserve unit to go through MEB in August. I have a service dog I will receive and train with in June as well. Anyone have a credible idea what I may be rated at?<br>Army MEB for PTSD2014-01-21T19:55:52-05:00SPC Sven Pacot41862<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have been informed that the Army automatically rates Veterans at 50% for PTSD after going through MEB. I'm a medic savvy to Army medical processes, and knew DOD/Dept of Army was overwhelmed and 2 yrs on med hold! I just ETS'd and applied through VA for disability 5 yrs later when it all hit me! My knowledge is that for PTSD, it's 10, 30, 50, 70, or 100%. It's not unusual to be rated low at 30% for many, and usually if you worsen and it's documented they raise it if you appeal. Ive been at 70% for 2 yrs but I'm going back to work, hopefully soon! Be honest (mostly), try to be patient, research and take charge of your claim. If you need it, get it, and hope we can get out there soon and find our place in the world :). Hit me up if you have VA ?'s, I'm knowledgeable but moral about it. Good luck, tho you may be done by now lol!Response by SGT Shon D.
