For those upset, I say use your voice and vote in 4 years, but don't wait till then, start now preparing for it. For those happy and excited, its not over as it has just begun, now lets see how things go.

United we stand, Divided we fall- how would you like to see our nation over the next generation? Actually I am surprised it went to Trump. I was fooled as well by the media coverage even extending to FOX that Hillary had this election in the bag. However, I knew from both Wisconsin and Texas that folks in the suburbs were really pissed off at the Democrats. The hostility was scary in places. Some folks were issuing threats via FB as well as calling Hillary the B word.....way to emotional, IMO. I had my HVAC inspected today for winter and the repairman was pro-Trump and he said he was fed up and was "enjoying" the election fallout.........he said he was a former Democrat. So it looks like some crossed party lines to vote for Trump as well which was another surprise and completely contrary to what the Media said about both sides being "locked-in".

However, have to say this is really similar to the 1980 election when folks thought it would go to Ted Kennedy or John Anderson then were shocked at the landslide to Reagan. He was drawing crowds of 20,000. HRC could draw more than 2,000 without pop starts on the docket. Kaine couldn't draw more than a few dozen. An energized base means they will show up and vote.

I did not think he would win as big as he did on the Electoral College and that he would flip as many blue states as he did.

Whether you are a fan of Trump or not. He won, fair and square as far as we can tell. You don't have to agree with him or like him but what is going on now in some of our major cities is unseemly.
