Viewership is down this year, but the cost of running a commercial reached a record high so advertisers still apparently believe lots of people are tuning it. It'll be interesting to see what the ratings are this year. Personally I just don't care about either team so I'm going to pass on this year's game.

I'm watching. Dont believe the hype. Only the true believers and non sporta fans actually boycott. The rest just pretend and secretly watch. I have a coworker like that. Whined about the players knewling all year but started watching in the playoffs. Pats Nation.

I'm doing neither. I am most selective on what television programs I choose to watch on Sundays, and football is not one of them.

Go Eagles... and I will not be taken out of my pleasure and stress removal by a few jerks that refuse to aknowledge us and the sacrifice. I was in Atlanta during the 96 Olympic Bombings and I checked on my roommate early the next day that was there and they left right before it we all went back out the next night and saw Ray Charles sing Georgia On My Mind. There were more than a million people trying to get into Olympic City Park. Right under CNN Center.

These Atheletes that are protesting our country and protection well I'm not sure what we need to do for that. Liberals are trying to take over the country and then control all spec ops and intel and they do not care about due dilligence like Hillary and 4 of our Spec Ops brothers being killed trying to take care of the Ambassador AND HILLARY SAID OH WELL TO LATE TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT NOW. I'm watching for the competition and the sport only. Don't care about the politics or the flag protest. It only involved around 1-2 % of the players. Our so-called leaders in DC bring more dishonor to the Nation on a daily basis than a few people refusing to stand for the Anthem. At face value, many of the players are spoiled millionaires using every trick in the book to remain relevant or increase their star factor. It's all about money with them. They work for salary, endorsements, and hopefully a talking-head job after they retire. Many will be almost brain dead by the time they wrap it up and near-vegetables long before their time. It's just a game between what are arguably the best in their trade and beats the stupid series on TV or old movie re-runs. Considering I'm the only person that will know whether I watch or not, I can't see not watching as any form of boycott. If I had to decide whether to spend $5000 per ticket or watch it next week on TV, I'll keep the cash. I won't be buying any tickets or NFL garb, and will still have to pay a DISH bill whether I watch or not, so it's no big decision for me. Sometimes they have a decent brawl on the field, and that's always fun. I like the commercials too.

Yes, we are. It was always a ritual to watch with my mother in law every year, because she loved football so much. In the last couple of years, she couldn't really tell you what was happening, but she wouldn't miss it. We lost her last year, and we are going to watch in her honor.

You guys should be watching the game everyone stood up for the National Athem and Philly may actually beat NE Patriots in this game. If you've spent any time in Our Military then you have watch Superbowl overseas and on AFN... Vote up brothers Eagles I lived in Philly for 3 years and my brother and mentor from Bragg and 7th SFG is Agent for PA AG Office... Go Eagles

Guys all the negative responses and above my rank. What you protest as much as we hate it is what we swore to protect. It is going our way now believe. Everyone stood and no one disrespected and our troops need to be able to watch what we as elder NCOs in our time was must see event of the year.

Do not forget Pat Tillman guys, I watch the game with 2 great American Teams and home of our liberty and will not disrespect these guys or the ones currently serving. Watch the game guys and don't feel bad about it... I'll stand up to any Senior NCO on that order soldiers. All stood for the National Athem for this game and we will not be disrespected.
