I can't imagine any other method of bringing Leftists into the military services except by conscription. Imagine then how offended they would be when a sergeant yelled at them. Or how offended they might be by the need to render respect and honor to superiors. The flag. The Constitution. It gives a whole new meaning to "going on the offensive", doesn't it?

I concur with you CPT Jack Durish that if the draft is reinstituted leftists, progressives and the like would be g=horrified :-)
Since the draft would probably not be executed until general mobilization is initiated there is a remote chance that it will happen within the next couple of years.

I remember Chalie Rangle (I did not check the spelling) wanted to reinstate the draft. Because the children of the president and white rich people don't enlist.

I do find it interesting that the draft has only ever been executed by the Democrats, with the sole exception of the Civil War.
