Our next president could very well destroy this nation. Going based on the two front runners (I know a lot can happen before November) Both Hillary and Trump will weaken our standing in the world community. Hillary is likely to respond by throwing money we don't have at the problem. Trump is likely to respond by throwing our military at the problem causing unnecessary deaths amongst our brothers and sisters at arms. ISIS is going to continue being the thorn in everyone's side until the world gets together, takes the gloves off, and beats them like a drum. I think ultimately it is going to come down to a cold war stand off though. Putin's Russia against the world. This time it will end in armed conflict. If Trump is elected, it will be nuclear war destroying the planet. If Hillary is elected it will end when we are bankrupted and fall apart under the economic strain of our own agenda. Either way, I fear for the world my Grandson is growing up in. We were supposed to leave them a better world. Doesn't look like that is going to happen. Whether our next president is Bernie Sanders or Donald Trump, neither would just have free reign to ruin the country. Our founding fathers were wise enough to place the Senate and House to, along with the Presidency, act as checks and balances against each other. Either person would have to gain a lot of support for whatever their agenda is, and I don't think they'd be able to get enough support for any of their crazier ideas. This country needs to re-educate itself on not reacting to or living through fear. Shut off the television with all of the "If it bleeds, it leads" spin and fix our problems from within. We don't need CNN, FOX, or MSNBC to tell us what is bad, because that is all they do. Its how they drive fear, through persuasion, and sensory overload.
