SGM Private RallyPoint Member, my 14-year-old daughter (unbeknownst to me or my wife) fell for the notorious FBI virus scam. She sent $500 to the scammers on a credit card she bought at 7-Eleven (per the scammers' instructions). She should not have had access to $500, but she nearly wiped out a savings account we had for her. I guess she was scared when the "FBI" warning popped up on the screen.

Here's a link to the FBI scam (for Android phones, which is what our daughter was using), in case anyone else sees it. Obviously don't pay the money. A 14-year-old didn't know better and was scared she was in trouble, so she didn't ask Mom or Dad.
