Are you familiar with Thomas Sowell? His response to the President's recent Oval Office speech is an excellent place to begin

I have read several of Sowell's books and followed his articles with great interest. He is one of the most intelligent and inciteful pundits I know. If we really wanted to have a black President just for the sake of having a black President, I wish that we had actually looked for one with some merit. Sowell would have been a far better choice.

The President's Speech

When the President of the United States asks the television networks to set aside time for him to broadcast a speech from the Oval Office, we can usually expect that he has something new to say.

Agreed 100%; Sowell would be included with guys like Mike Rowe and Walter E. Williams on my short list of people I wish would run for President!

He can criticize Obama because he is black so he doesn't have to worry about being labeled a racist. Same as Jewish journalists are the only one who can criticize Israel. Sowell use to be better, before Obama, than he currently is. Now he just spouts the Republican party line. The real shame is the man who Sowell replaced is no longer around , Charlie Reese. He gave them all hell. And it is a dang shame the Thro(throw the rascals out) movement died out as a result of it.
