In the 1960s and ’70s, Sue Ellen Browder had a front-row seat to the unfolding of the feminist movement. Following a conversion to Catholicism and Walter’s death from cancer, Browder took 5 years to write a book that is both a personal memoir and the untold story of the women’s movement.
